The Alvord ISD Police Department is committed to providing professional, impartial, and equitable law enforcement services to every member of our school community. In accordance with Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Article 2.131 and the requirements established by the Texas Legislature, the Department strictly prohibits racial profiling and any form of biased policing.

Our officers perform their duties in accordance with federal and state law, Alvord ISD policies, departmental regulations, and the Texas Police Chiefs Association Best Practices Recognition Program. Every contact with students, staff, parents, visitors, and community members is expected to be conducted with professionalism, fairness, dignity, and respect.

The Alvord ISD Police Department recognizes that public trust is built through transparency, accountability, and positive community relationships. While the overwhelming majority of interactions between our officers and the public are positive, we also recognize the importance of providing a fair and accessible process for addressing concerns.
