Vision Statement

The Alvord ISD Police Department is committed to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming learning environment where every student, employee, and visitor can thrive. Our vision is to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, transparency, ethical conduct, and service while building lasting partnerships with our school community.

We believe that school policing extends beyond enforcement. Through collaboration, education, and mentorship, we strive to prevent crime, strengthen relationships, and positively impact the lives of those we serve. Our goal is to help students succeed while, whenever appropriate and permitted by law, guiding them away from involvement in the criminal justice system.

 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Alvord ISD Police Department is to protect life and property, preserve peace, and provide professional law enforcement services that support the educational mission of Alvord ISD. We are dedicated to serving our students, staff, parents, and community with Honor, Courage, and Integrity, while fostering trust through fairness, accountability, compassion, and transparency.

Every member of our department is committed to creating a safe learning environment where respect, service, and ethical leadership are at the forefront of everything we do.
